Jim's primary responsibilities include deal origination, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management.  He is a member of the mezzanine fund investment committee. From 1996 to 2002, he was involved in all aspects of business development and transaction execution for Ironwood Capital's investment banking practice.

Jim represents Ironwood on the boards of Medport, Advanced Concrete, and Genesis Solutions.  In addition, Jim serves on the boards of the Northeast Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies and the Connecticut chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Jim is a CFA Charterholder and a graduate of Bryant University. He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
